On the 13th of October afternoon, I heard a shattering news that the King of Thailand, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej ( Thai: ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ) passed away in his aged of 88.
RIP HM King ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช
His Majesty was the world's longest-reigning King (70th year in throne).
Thais respected His Majesty a lot and I believe that His Majesty was a truly great King in the present world.
My tears almost falling down whilst my eyes getting heat 。。。
Thais grieving for the lost their respectful King
I made up my mind to escape for a short trip while I grieving for the lost the great King.
Two days later, we started our short trip traveling to Pangkor Island in Perak state of Malaysia.
We started to drive at 8am and reached Lumut at 11am.
At start we intended to park our car at Marina Island's jetty (a man-made island connecting with main land of Peninsular Malaysia) where passenger ferry service is available for crossing sea over to Pangkor Island. But after we had our vegetarian-breakfast and morning prayer in the renowned Tua Pek Kong & Kuan Yin ( 观音菩萨 ) Temple in Setiawan, we wrongly headed towards a junction where its got us straight to the long-established jetty in Lumut.

[All details, parking, ferry charges, jetty & road towards to Pangkor Island are well recorded in our video posted in youtube as below]
The ferry's shipping is only 20 minutes and the fee is RM10 for a return ticket.
My lovely wife in happy mood
So basically the ferry departed from Lumut's jetty stopped first at SPK (Pangkor Island) 's jetty before it goes to the new Pangkor's jetty which is located in town center, that could be more nearer & convenient to our pre-booked hotel - Pangkor Fish House. If we had taken a ferry from Marina Island then it would had taken us to the new Pangkor's jetty. There you see, we got blessing from the God to guide us directly to the right place. So "don't be upset if you'd mistaken chosen an option which you initially thought it was a wrong way, there is always another door opened for you".
After we reached SPK jetty, just walked about tens meters then we able to meet the owner of the hotel (the hotel, to be precise, it is actually a fish farm homestay). The owner, Mdm Joyce, operates a few homestays in Pangkor, this one near the SPK's jetty is a basic village shop whereas the one that we booked is less than 1 kilometer north up.

Mdm Joyce was kind to arrange her worker to fetch us to the fish house. There are numerous shops and restaurants along the 3 minutes drive to the fish house. So basically it won't be hard to find your preferred dishes here.
Photo was not shot along the way as I was using a ActionCam to record this time. So, I had more chances to chat with locals and enjoy the scenery. You all may watch my recorded video for scenery along the way as posted above.

Our room was at the left hand side from the corridor, where all these side of rooms come with semi-private balcony.

The fish house has almost all facilities that you needed to stay in a hotel. There is even a kitchen functional for heavy-cooking, for guests who prefer to cook their own.

Don't forget to take time to visit its fish farm, which is just a few walking-steps extended out to sea.

We simply dined in a restaurant selling various dishes with rice in the evening. Ya。。try the sea fishes, fresh and delicious.
Then we headed back to room again. My lovely wife got full already easily falls asleep. Night night ? Not yet for me.
mystery scenery at night @ room balcony
Eventhough there was a mystery (and probably lonely) old-chap lives in the opposite sea-house, with rocking loud oldish and suddenly pop Mandarin songs; be cool, it won't spoil my mood of drink-atation (self meditation with drinks). Just treat any obstacles as another wave of fun in life.
nice view with "nice" free musics :)p
After dark or probably after my camera light shot flashed, the old-chap saw I was holding a camera with my serious army-look hair-style, the old-chap then tuned down his "self-syiok songs". The environment totally changed to a peaceful seashores night. There you see, when the 'darkest' gone, the light is ahead.
after dark, music off. another great peaceful moment
