Pangkor Island - The Beautiful Island in West Coast Malaysia ..part II

{A Free & Easy Escape}

(trip on October 15, 2016)

Pangkor Island was a truly beautiful island. The name itself, "Pang-ko", in Thais means beautiful. This island still remains beautiful today and shall be remained beautiful in the following many generations, only if tourist takes part to be a responsible Eco-friendly explorer.

I had seen there was great effort initiated by the owner of the fish house homestay, Mr Tan & Mdm Joyce, to maintain the cleanliness not just for business premises they manage, but also for the island's area environmental.

another creative idea

Still, there are still many irresponsible tourists or probably villagers their own leaving their own "shits" of junk into sea. When low tide, there you would have these 'spoiled' scenery.

(continued from part I)

We woke up early on the next day and went to the renowned Pangkor Island's temple - Fu Ling Kong Temple ( 福临宫 ) for morning prayer. Before reaching the temple, we stopped by a food court which resided at the left-hand-side on the way to the temple for breakfast.

My lovely wife likes this a lot, a 'Pau' (bun) filled with milky pumpkin.

I like this, classic :)

Before check-out from the fish house, there was still plenty of time for us to pack our luggage, relax & selfie.

The owner was kind enough to let us drive his car to the jetty, whereby his staff will pick it up at the jetty then. So we could stopped by the town center to buy some stuffs before boarding.
