travel to Angkor Wat from Malaysia without flying ..part XX

{Lone Ranger Finding His Loving Wife}

......continued from part XIX

(September 19, 2015)
What is Angkor Wat ? Where is it ? Most of my friends seem don't know about it, even myself also didn't know much about it before I decided to visit there. After I visited there, is that means I had familiar with it ? Let see 。。。

Various kings of the Khmer empire from the year 802 to 1431 built their capitals, temples and castles around an area a few kilometers north up from Siem Reap. The area stretching over 400 sqkm (which is quite similar size with Kepong town, Malaysia) leaves abandoned and looting along wars and changes of empire and other factors during that hundreds years.
Today this area was named Angkor Archaeological Park, which contains magnificent remains of buildings and infrastructures, including the largest pre-industrial city in the world at once. The most famous buildings are the Angkor Wat and the Bayon Temple with its countless breathtaking and stunning sculptural decorations.

I don't know much about this historical area, I learnt it mostly online. So, let photos do the talking here 。。。
