Finally,
YP landed in Siem Reap |
(September 18, 2015)
After some refreshment in the hotel, we decided to walk out to the Pub Street for dinner in the evening.
The walking distance from the Landing Point Villa to the Pub Street is about 1.5km. It was a quiet straight street towards a bridge crossing the town area of Siem Reap. There were only two or three sundry shops and one or two restaurants besides this street. However, we able to see more shops after passing the T-junction but still before the bridge. Then, it was getting bright and brighter with colourful lights alongside the river.

After we crossed the bridge, walked about 300 meters and would reached the Pub Street entrance, where The Soup Dragon is at the T-junction. So it's about 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel to reach the Pub Street, more far than the Bayon Boutique Hotel which I highly recommend.

a busy nightlife @ the Pub Street |
We able to find a table at the upstairs level of The Soup Dragon, where I presumed as a perfect place to capture the pretty of this vibrant nightlife street.

After dinner, walk around the Pub Street area, and you'll find lots of hawker selling Cambodian styles of clothes and souvenirs. The Cambodian products sold here mostly in fine quality and worthy price.
By the time we decided to back to sleep, it was already 10pm plus, so we haggled with a tut-tut driver waiting in front of a convenient store, the fee drving us back to hotel, USD2.5, a bit pricey but due to the street walking back would be too quiet and dark, so had to take it.
Then it was another session of self-meditation or to be precised, it was actually a drink-atation after I comfort my wife to sleep.
