Cambodia or some call it Khmer, considered a mystery country to most of us. Most of what we read about this country, is about war ( 战争 ) or poverty ( 贫穷 ). Before I made this travel, some of my seniors even thought that the people here do not wear any pants & live in tree-house or jungle.

A very influencing King, Jayavarman II, built a very powerful kingdom in Southeast Asia, Khmer empire, in year 802 to 1431. 
Angkor Wat, a monumental temple, was built at that war time. Today Angkor Wat is one of 7 wonders of the world ( 世界七大奇迹 ).

Siem Reap, is the gateway to Angkor Wat. Siem Reap also chosen as the 'must-go' travel destination in Asia, being ranked as numbered 1 top destination by Travelers' Choice Tripadvisor.

That's why I chosen here as my very important point of traveling. I reached here on the 16th September 2015. Blessed with grateful heart, after so many years, despite of obstacles, a big step forward, and forthcoming good or bad, finally, and finally I reached Cambodia.

My first stop in Cambodia was Bayon Boutique Hotel. Blessed, I was lucky enough to really got a cozy hotel among hundreds of hotel listed in Siem Reap, whereby usually 'what we see IS NOT what we get'  with the good-posed pictures online.
